Terms of service

Access, responsible use and the limits of the information provided through the Armathes business research beta.

Last updated

The service

Armathes is operated by Evan Friedman in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The initial beta is intended for US businesses and their invited professional users. Questions may be sent to contact@armathes.com.

These terms describe access to the website and research platform. Your organization’s separately agreed written contract may set additional terms; any contract-specific conditions should be settled before paid service begins.

You accept these terms by checking the box and choosing Accept before you first use the platform. We keep a record of the version you accepted and when. If these terms change materially, we will ask you to accept the new version before you continue.

If you use Armathes for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for it, and they then apply to the organization and to you. Without that authority, they apply to you personally.

Account access

Platform access is by invitation. Provide accurate account information, keep sign-in links and account access private, and use only your permitted organization and role. Report suspected misuse promptly.

An organization administrator can manage that organization’s members and access. Armathes staff may restrict access to investigate abuse or protect the service.

Responsible use

Do not bypass access controls, attempt to access another organization’s private information, overload the service, interfere with its operation or submit unlawful material. You are responsible for the content you provide and your authority to share it with colleagues.

We use submitted content to provide and support your workspace. Respect the licenses and credits associated with third-party materials. Public facts are not claimed as proprietary Armathes facts; original sources and their terms remain relevant.

Information you must not submit

Armathes is for public-source research and ordinary business notes. It is not approved to hold restricted government information. Do not submit classified information, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), technical data controlled under export laws such as ITAR or EAR, source selection information, another company’s bid or proposal information, or anything else a law or contract limits to approved systems.

Armathes does not review what you submit for these categories. If such information is submitted, tell us promptly at contact@armathes.com without repeating it in your message.

Sources and analytical limits

Armathes organizes public-source evidence. Coverage depends on the displayed sources, amount thresholds and imported time windows. Sources can be incomplete, revised or delayed; source availability and continuous service availability are not guaranteed.

Verify material decisions against original records and current solicitation documents. Heuristic activity or fit scores are not calibrated probabilities of future spending or award wins. The platform does not promise a contract outcome.

Beta access and pricing

Current beta access is free in exchange for feedback, with documented feature and export limits. There is no automatic public subscription checkout or automatic paid upgrade from the beta.

Future paid service requires a separate pricing agreement. Beta features and access can change or be interrupted; material access changes will be communicated through appropriate channels. See Beta pricing and refunds.

Feedback

Feedback is always voluntary. If you send Armathes suggestions, ideas, problem reports, or other feedback, Armathes may use, change, and build on it for any purpose, without payment, credit, or any other obligation to you.

Please do not put confidential information in feedback, such as your organization’s bid strategy or non-public contract details, unless Armathes has agreed in writing to keep it confidential. The Privacy policy describes how feedback records are handled.

No warranties

Armathes is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service, its sources, or its scores will be complete, current, error-free, or uninterrupted, or that using them will produce any particular result.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, Armathes, Evan Friedman, and anyone working on Armathes’s behalf are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, contracts, bids, goodwill, or data, arising from or related to the service, even if told such damages were possible.

Our total liability for all claims related to the service is limited to the amount your organization paid Armathes for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

These limits apply whatever the legal theory of a claim. Where a law does not allow a limit, it applies only as far as that law allows.

Ending access and data requests

Contact us to end access or ask for help retrieving or removing your information. Shared organization research requires appropriate authority. The privacy request process explains personal-information requests and retention limits.

These terms do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. No marketing permission is inferred from a sign-in request.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute related to these terms or the service will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, and you and Armathes consent to their jurisdiction.

If a separately signed agreement with your organization conflicts with these terms, that agreement controls. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

Armathes may transfer these terms and the service to a company formed to operate Armathes or to a successor to the business, and will tell you if it does. These terms then continue with that company.
