Cookies and browser storage
What this site stores in your browser, which analytics are optional, and how to change your choice.
Last updated
Your choice
Optional analytics are off until you allow them. Choose Allow or Decline in the privacy banner, or open Cookie settings in the footer to review or change your choice. The choices have equal prominence.
The choice applies to this browser on this site, not every device or account. An absent, expired or unreadable choice leaves optional analytics off. If saving is blocked, we keep optional analytics off for that visit and show an explanation.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, optional analytics stay off and no banner appears; Cookie settings shows that the signal is on. Do Not Track has no separate effect, because optional analytics are already off until you allow them.
Withdrawal stops future optional metrics. The current public page reloads to remove already-loaded provider scripts; this does not erase metrics already sent or disable necessary security processing.
Necessary storage and preferences
Sign-in and security storage protect access. Other storage remembers choices you make or supports workspace features. Clearing site storage can sign you out and reset preferences. Optional analytics permission is separate from these functions.
- Account session
- __Host-armathes_session (legacy armathes_session during transition). Up to thirty days; revoked earlier for sign-out, security or seven idle days.
- Sign-in flow
- armathes_google and armathes_sso hold sign-in state and verification information for up to ten minutes.
- Staff security and preview
- armathes_hub_mfa lasts up to twelve hours and is bound to the staff session. armathes_preview lasts up to one hour and only restricts a staff view.
- Remembered staff browser
- __Host-armathes_hub_trust is set only when staff choose to remember this browser after entering an authenticator code. It permits hub reading for up to fourteen days in that same session; changes still need recent verification. Signing out, forgetting or revoking the session, account removal, or seven idle days ends access earlier.
- Appearance and sidebar
- armathes_theme and armathes_sidebar remember appearance and collapsed/open navigation for up to one year.
- Time zones
- armathes_time_zone and armathes_device_zone keep chosen/device date-display zones for up to one year.
- Date ranges and welcome
- armathes_periods_<user-id> and armathes_welcome_<user-id> keep analysis preferences and an acknowledged welcome for up to one year.
- Sign-in request wait
- This tab’s session storage, armathes.signin.request, remembers a submitted email and request times for resends, the cooldown and optional code-form email prefill. Sign-in codes are not stored there. Server limits are enforced independently.
- Support form draft
- This tab’s session storage, armathes-feedback-draft, holds your topic, message, and optional email while the form sends, so a refused send can restore them. It is removed when the form next loads.
- Listing filters
- This tab’s session storage, armathes_listing_queries, remembers your filters on platform lists while you move between pages.
- Recent searches
- Local storage, armathes.recentSearches, holds up to five recent command-palette searches on this device until replaced or browser storage is cleared.
- Saved research views
- Local storage, armathes.researchViews.v1:<user-id>, keeps up to fifty Explore views you save on this device until you delete them or browser storage is cleared.
- Your analytics choice
- Local storage, armathes.analytics-choice.v1, stores only the choice, format version and expiry. A choice is honored for up to one year; the stored entry remains until replaced or browser storage is cleared.
Optional public-site analytics
With your permission, Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights help us understand visits and page performance on the main marketing pages. Vercel describes Web Analytics as cookieless; processing can still involve technical information such as browser/device details, approximate location and referral information.
We remove parameters/fragments from event URLs and refuse optional events from sign-in, customer workspace, staff and unknown routes. We do not load these optional scripts on policy pages. Some deployments, including customer maintenance, can leave optional metrics disabled even if you allowed them.
See Vercel’s analytics privacy information. Your choice does not control infrastructure requests or security logs needed to serve and protect the site.
External sign-in and security services
Cloudflare Access can set its own staff-hub security cookies. Google and other external sign-in pages have their own storage practices. Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical signals for bot protection; see its privacy policy.
For information about application data, retention and requests, read the Privacy policy. Browser choices do not delete account or research records.
